From what I know, there exists a lot of British architectural styles and for one I don't know the style you intend to build, neither do I know the budget and plans you have in mind. British architecture has evolved hugely over the centuries, with movements and styles from years gone by still exerting influence and having vast appeal today. As Elizabeth I came to the Throne of England, the architectural style was defined by the Prodigy houses. These were showy, ostentatious country piles built by the gentry that benefitted from the dissolution of the monasteries. I could go on and on but I believe you know the histories already, I think it's better to check in with an expert, l would recommend Pete Suen for this.
