<p>Hey,<br><br>My brother just started his own electric Contracting company, naturally it was slow for the first two weeks, I help him with his website and local listings, etc. It will obviously take a bit of time before he sees the results, although I believe it should be quite simple as the competition is not that tough.<br><br>What strategies and tactics are best suited for this type of business?<br><br>I know there are dozens of ways we can promote his new business, but since he has a very limited budget, I hope to implement the ones that have the best chance of getting a positive ROI.<br><br>I help him develop a USP that we can put on his van and all the other marketing and promotional materials.<br><br>I was thinking of putting a quarter-page ad in a local newspaper with its offer, USP, and call to action.<br><br>Perhaps postcards for pre-defined areas or businesses.<br><br>What types of online / offline media work well for this type of industry? youtube videos? FB fan page?<br><br>Any help will be appreciated.<br></p>
