Congrats! I'm so happy for you, and I think celebrating it is a great idea. I think i"m a huge party person because I like to celebrate everything. I even arrange little parties for my dog and cat, and I call their friends (also pets of my neighbours) and make a cake from their favourite food. And I believe they understand what is going on! Or I hope so. I usually do not just congratulate my colleagues and family members with a card or words; I try to give them a gift basket with their favourite stuff or something sweet, and they always like it!

Last year I bought him a huge one, and he even cried a little. I didn't even know he liked it so much
