Golf will qualify as a great outdoor sport (This may not go well with most Indians as cricket and Football would be preferred ).Golf combines nature with a skill set where apart from fitness to walk around 7 km per round in a hilly terrain or lush green environment and also use your mental ability to play It is most probably the only sport where you propel a stationary ball and use 14 different clubs to play the game .U can play the game all by yourself and your opponent is the course you play with all its obstacles and hazards (lake, sand traps etc..).U need the skill of a billiard player to putt on the greens >in short u need to combine all these skills and merge with nature to enjoy the game.Golf in India was not well known but the Indian Golf Union is promoting this game in a big way and proposing to introduce in all schools >it is an Individual sport and if you make it big it probably is the highest paid game e.g Tiger Woods.He in fact has started a an academy for Juniors

For whom how. Most of my relatives are fond of golf. I personally prefer football. It is a combination of excitement and a big will for victory. I am a big fan by the way.
