I've been seeing psychotherapists for six years now. CBT, DBT, Gestalt, Mindfulness, a mixture of many. DBT helped to chew, as my main problems are BPD and anxiety. However, there really aren't a ton of great therapists left. I honestly think I've been through all the therapists in my city.

I'm not trained. I work with computers. I am interested in psychology, but I am not trained in it. I have a DBT book. But I want to work on it myself, or even find some like-minded people, chat about it and look through a few books or something like that. I just feel that there is no other way to succeed in everything, because therapists do not help enough.

My psychotherapists did nothing for me. I stopped everything because it was just a waste of time and money.
It's been a real challenge for me to find my therapist. Although I went to some that were recommended by friends or acquaintances, it's very important to actually connect with the person, to feel the conversation, the bond, the trust, and for me it just wasn't there. There is just no point in wasting time if you are not willing to open up and discuss the reason you are there in the first place.
I have found an article in the Los Angeles Magazine, and for the first time, I have tried online therapy. That is where I found my perfect therapist. I am doing this for more than 8 months now, and I can definitely say that it was a life-changer. Hopefully, you can find what you need there as well, you can check it out here https://www.lamag.com/sponsored/best-onl...apy/
It was very helpful for me, guiding me through my darkest times, and I hope it will be helpful to you too.
