Anyone with an AC window unit? Energy Cost? - Bookak - 03-23-2020

I have a Kenmore Elite 10,000 BTU window AC Energy Saver. I usually don't run it all the time in the summer because I'm worried about the power bill. I was talking to a colleague today and she told me that she has 3 window air conditioners working around the clock, and here the electricity bill is no more than $ 135 a month. It shocked me. I thought it would be in the $ 300-400 range. 3 ACs Windows work all the time. It did not get into everyday LIFE, air speed, and so on. I know that he is only 2-3 years old, and she also sometimes leaves the light on.

Should I turn on the air conditioner while I'm away? It sucks that I have to go home to an apartment that looks like a sauna. I also have to put olive oil in the refrigerator because it gets very hot in my apartment.

Thanks.

I think you have to use an AC no matter how much it will cost you, You will have to use it because you won't resist in a heat, I have a pretty new one Samsung with some kind of new technology, super frost or something like that. It is pretty good for my house and it covers a big amount of sq

Nice, I think you pay less because you have a pretty new AC, and a good electricity supplier. As far as I know there are some suppliers that have a special tariff for the winter and summer seasons. I was looking for a new supplier for a long time as my old one was working really bad, as far as I know that was a private company and it lost a lot of money during the crisis period so that's why they were nearly closed. They told me to find a new supplier as their company will close soon. Also, they told me to use for that usave.co.uk this service. The only one thing to do was to introduce my postal code and to choose from the available options in my area. This is what I did and now I have a great supplier. I can easily use my AC all the day long and to pay for that same money as you do
