Each store or website with furniture has information about both the company and the quality of their furniture: what is made of, where the materials were brought from, how long ago they were made, and so on. When I chose my furniture, I looked mainly at the material from which that wardrobe or sofa was made. I didn't care where it came from or who collected it. We recently bought a new oversized chair and found a site like https://www.nyfurnitureoutlets.com/ and we were just surprised by the quality of their furniture. Of course, I read all the reviews about their furniture in advance, but I didn't expect such a good result.

When buying a sofa, it's essential to check the frame for sturdy construction, especially if it's made of hardwood like oak or maple. Test the cushions for firmness and durability by sitting on them and checking the seams for any signs of fraying.
Personally, I like making my own furniture. When it comes to DIY, I'm passionate about it! Recently, I crafted a beautiful coffee table with decoupaged glass; all I had to do was read the article about https://petticoatjunktion.com/decoupage/mod-podge-tutorial/. It's sturdy and exactly how I wanted it. You should give it a try!
