VPN service and how it affects mu current IP address - Epicollapse - 12-11-2020

We watch a lot of British TV series on BBC Canada, and BBC Iplayer streaming is not available in Canada. I know I can use a VPN address to access the BBC iPlayer and ITV Hub etc, which will solve this problem.

My question is whether this will affect my Canadian IP address and everything I do online, email, etc.

I don't think that Canadian IP should make any problems.

I wanted to use VPN on Netflix and watch TV shows that are not available in the UK, but it somehow knows that I am using VPN and it blocks me. I had Proton VPN and it was annoying that this happened too many times. I read about VPNs that do not have that problem and I found few articles. The First one I tried was F-Secure VPN, I liked it because it is owned by Nokia and its security system is above the competition. I've been using it for a few months now, and I love it.
