Help me recover my recently died dog photos - AngelaJohnston - 07-20-2021

I recently found an old external drive WD model WD1600U017-005. By the way, I'm using an Asus ZenBook with Win 10.

Despite the fact that the blue indicator lights up, the system does not show the disk; I try to load the disks installed, but nothing. Also, try reinstalling the USB win driver “other devices”, but below.

I'm asking for this help because my 16-year-old dog Hunye just died yesterday, and we can restore all his photos, and I'm sure there are some on this disk.

Sorry if this is not the right category.

Thank you all for any help.

If I were you, I'd contact the service, and even if you aren't going to use your laptop anymore, the expert can pull your photos out of it. My computer broke down a year ago, and I don't use it at all, so I wasn't even going to fix it. But I was very sorry for the photos left there: my family and animals, so I turned to the master. It'd be a shame for me to lose those photos where I teach a puppy commands. I read on oodlelife.com about the importance of dog training and decided to do it myself, even though I have no experience.
