Mortgage and house now In trouble, please help! - FaithMillsM2V - 08-12-2021
Hi,
I just want to get a little advice from anyone who really knows what we can do in our current situation.
Me and my ex-partner of 10 years bought a house in 2014 only for me to find out that he was cheating for most of the year and we broke up in 2015. His name was still on our mortgage and is currently listed, he left the house completely, said he didn't want anything to do with it, and hasn't paid a penny since. Now we have received a letter from a lawyer on his instructions, which says that we have until February to either remove his name, or after that the house will be put up for sale. This will, in fact, make me, my new partner and 2 children homeless.
Due to Covid and everything that has happened this year, my partners ' working hours have been reduced at his workplace, and he only works half the hours as usual, and I am currently not working for the first time since I was 15 due to my health. Our financial situation is small. It will cost us to start the process of removing his name from the mortgage, which we do not have, and I doubt that the mortgage company will allow me and my partner to take over the mortgage, given our current circumstances.
I suppose what I really want to know is that after everything he's done to me, shouldn't he be paying the mortgage company to delete his name, not me? And also can he really force us to sell out in the end and potentially make us all homeless?
Also, should I write to his lawyer myself and explain the situation as I described above? Since we are definitely not able to pay for a lawyer.
Please, any advice will really help.

RE: Mortgage and house now In trouble, please help! - MaxForsyth - 08-12-2021 I have also been wondering this question lately, since I can't find a good mortgage at all. RE: Mortgage and house now In trouble, please help! - RichardSmithe - 08-12-2021 Hi! The question really deserves attention, because it is important to know everything about the company before using its services. One day I came across the fact that I wanted to take out a loan for a new house, and I studied many interesting sources that helped me understand the whole world of the credit business. Let's start with the fact that the rating provides many options that are beneficial to the consumer, but it is important to be able to find your options correctly. Do you need to take risks? For example, I made my choice in the direction of https://dollarbackmortgage.com/ and I didn't regret it at all. I think that thanks to them you will be able to choose any type of loan and even solve your problem. I hope my experience was useful to you! But, still, it would be better to consult a reliable specialist in this domain. I would personally recommend https://Cambridgemoneyman.com . A good and trustworthy broker can save you from losing money, and stress, which sometimes is very valuable and can get you to move on in life. A little bit of money spent now can help you make a plan that could make you a lot richer, relaxed and happier. I don't understand it. Why would people not pay a specialist to solve their problems? It is so obvious that there is no other option.
|
