<p>I believe that gambling is the complete opposite of hippies, whose motives are greed and selfishness. Some people like the noise in the casino. You can always have a snack in one of the restaurants without gambling. I've done this before.<br><br>I prefer the sound of a waterfall to the sound of poker machines.<br></p>

This thread is already 2 years old but I gotta throw in my two cents about gambling. Personally, I don't think it's the complete opposite of hippies - I mean, who doesn't want to win big and have some fun while doing it, am I right?
But hey, to each their own. If the sound of poker machines ain't your thing, no biggie. There are plenty of other ways to enjoy yourself at a casino, like grabbing a bite to eat or catching a show.
Also, if you're looking for some real wins without having to leave your house, there are some great online casinos out there there that might be more up your alley. No need to deal with the noise and crowds of a physical casino - just kick back at home and let the good times roll.
