It is hard actually for an experienced cook, not to mention a newbie. I remember myself first time holding a chef's knife and cutting myself on the first try of using it.
Anyway, since we are on this topic. Not so long ago I broke my favorite knife and I began to look up online for another one or an alternative for it. After spending several hours looking for the best match, I eventually found a knife which is close to the scorpion forge, the J.A Henckles Chef's Knife. It's a cheaper version of it, but for me anyway is good. The using of it for two weeks showed that it was worth buying, good steel, medium size and easy to handle. Now after buying it, I am thinking about buying another one, which I found here https://www.thewindupspace.com/best-chef...-under-50/ , a perfect site for purchasing the best option for you, with a short description for each product.
