In this course we will be creating three Halloween painting projects: scary pumpkin, creepy graveyard landscape and grisaille style painting bat in the moonlit sky.

This course was designed specially for young artists. Each step-by-step class is short in time and easy to make.

Besides, we don't make pencil sketches before painting, so your kid will not get tired of the class.

In this course your kid will learn:

how to create a painting of simple lines and basic geometric shapes

how to work with flat and round brushes

how to blend some colors (yellow and red to get orange, white and black to get gray)

the basics of grisaille style

For this course you will need:

pack of white heavy paper A4 (watercolor or acrylic painting paper is perfect)

creamy consistency and good coverage gouache or tempera paints in bottles: white, black, yellow, red, purple and violet colors

set of flat and round synthetic fiber brushes of different sizes for kids

*in this course I use MÅLA brushes by IKEA, you can use any other brushes for kids with short and thick handles to make it easier for children to hold and control the brushes when painting

cotton swab

round templates diameter of about 2,5in/6cm and about 2in/5cm (e.g. plastic caps)

cup of water

desk pad and wet cloth to protect the tabletop from stains and marks
