I don't think you owe them anything. It depends on your desire and impulse. No one is immune from this. They say that even Biden has dementia.

Well, I think that without direct evidence, it is impossible to say that Biden has dementia. If many people draw such conclusions because he sometimes speaks and behaves stupidly or stumbles and falls while climbing the plane ladder, this is not objective. In this case, dementia can also be attributed to Trump. I don't think the party would nominate a candidate with dementia.
Most likely, he is just absent-minded. He is an older man. It may also be that his memory and mind are not so sharp anymore. Again, these symptoms can be caused by old age.
Dementia is when your brain is almost like a child's. My father had dementia, and believe me, it looks very different.
