General:

Finding the key to our wisdom, cleansing the memories of the past, finding inner peace by being in union with the Divine were the pillars of the teachings of Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona, Kahuna lapa�au.

From very small Morrnah showed her healing gifts, she was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on May 19, 1913 in a traditional Hawaiian family consisting of her parents Kimokeo and Lilia Simeona. Her mother Lilia was a Kahuna La�au Kahea (Specialist of faith healing broken or crushed bones. Literally meaning specialist calling medicine) and was part of the court of Queen Liliuokalani, last sovereign of Hawaii.

At 3 years old, she received the gift of healing and was chosen since then as a Kahuna lapa�au (Teacher or specialist in healing, and in herbs). She grew up in Waikiki, surrounded by ancient traditional teachings orally and where the multidimensional realities converged and flowed.

While preparing in the ancient tradition, Morrnah studied in Catholic and Protestant schools, these religions profoundly influenced her spirituality.
Years later she studied the theosophical philosophy and metaphysical traditions of India and China, as well as the works of Edgar Cayce.
Morrnah was also a great lomilomi lapa�au (teacher or massage specialist). �The lomilomi massage is the connection of the heart, hands and soul with the source of all life.� Likewise, Morrnah studied anatomy and laying on of hands, managing to feel the presence of healing energies that she used in the treatments of these massages.

Morrnah as a lomilomi specialist, owned healing spas at the Kahala Hilton Hotel and at the Hawiian Royal Hotel for 10 years. Among her clients were Lyndon B. Johnson and Jackie Onassis. Eugene Gauggel, client of Morrnah commented on his experience: �She had a kind soul who spoke little but felt a lot. It inspired relaxation, confidence and a feeling of deep peace � I did not try to explain things. One could only feel something special in her presence. My impression is that she sent healing energy through her silence and her intention. It was very loving and sweet. �

Morrnah thought �Western people have gone to extremes with their intellectualization as it divides and keeps people apart. Man then becomes destructive because he manages and faces instead of letting the perpetual force of Divinity flow through him to take the right action.�

She dedicated half of her life to serving her community by practicing her great gifts of healing and her ancestral wisdom, among them, the traditional Ho�oponopono in which families were reunited to resolve conflicts, through reconciliation and forgiveness. The ritual required that all members of the family be present as well as those involved in the problem to be solved.

In 1976 at the age of 63, Morrnah based on the ancient traditional method of Ho�oponopono, developed the process of Self-identity where, unlike the traditional where the presence of family members was important, the Ho�oponono of Morrnah develops only between self and Divinity. So I adapt the traditional method to contemporary needs. The true purpose of this process, Morrnah said, is to discover the Divinity within oneself.
