This is now complete.
I hope this will help new potential Texas Hold'em Poker players learn the basics they need to get started in the world of online poker. Please write below anything you would like to know that cannot be covered.
I will cover hand rankings, poker lobby, tables, types of games available, deal, bets, best action/freeroll sites, ring table, tournament and sitngo tips and so on.
WHAT IS TEXAS HOLD'EM?
This is a 5-card game. Each person at the table is dealt two cards face down. These are your" leaky " cards, and no one else can see them. 5 cards are dealt in the middle of the table face up, and these are community cards. Everyone can see these cards. 5 community cards are not dealt all at once.
Once you have your "hole" cards, there is a betting round before any of the community cards are dealt. I'll deal with the Bet later. As soon as the betting round ends, community cards are dealt, but only 3 cards are dealt first. This is called a "flop". There is another round of betting, and once it is completed, the next card is dealt. This is called "turning". Again, one more round of bets and the last community card is dealt. It's called a " river." Then comes the final round of betting. This is called a "showdown", and at this point the winning hand (two open cards) is revealed, and the winner of the hand takes all the money that was wagered.
This is a very simple description of the game.
So, first of all: you will need to know which hands are being beaten so that you know if you are throwing away your money when betting.
POWER RATINGS

The hands below go from lowest to highest starting with:

High card (no pairs, only high card) qc.gif 8h.gif 5s.gif 3d.gif 2h.gif

One pair (any 2 matching numbered cards) ah.gif as. gif4h.gif 7d.gif th.gif

Two pairs (2 sets of two identical numbered cards) ad.gif as.gif tc.gif td.gif5h.gif

Three of a kind (any 3 matching numbered cards)jc.gif jh.gif js.gif 2h.gif 4d.gif

Straight / Run (5 consecutive cards) 5h.gif 6s.gif 7c.gif 8c.gif 9d.gif

Flush (any 5 cards of the same suit) jh.gif 3h.gif kh.gif 6h.gif 2h.gif

Full House (3 identical numbered cards and 2 identical numbered cards) 5d.gif 5h.gif 5s.gif 8d.gif 8c.gif

Four of a kind (4 identical numbered cards) 9d.gif 9c.gif 9h.gif 9s.gif kh.gif

Straight Flush (5 consecutive cards of the same suit (suits) 5s.gif 6s.gif 7s.gif 8s.gif 9s.gif

A Royal flush (the daddy of all hands, 5 consecutive cards of the same suit of higher rank) th.gif jh.gif qh.gif kh.gif ah.gif

POWER SLANG

Most hands have slang terms or nicknames that you'll pick up as you go along. An example is a pair of aces - they are most often called missiles or bullets. If you click on this link, you will find a fantastic list created by lipstick and the final list on Wikipedia.

So now you know the hand rating, you know the nicknames for some hands; so what's next? You need somewhere to play where you can get a lot of cheap games, play tournaments for money and a lot of freerolls.

We've covered what Texas Hold'em is, hand ratings, and hand nicknames/slang terms.

TYPES OF HOLD'EM GAME

There are 3 main types of Texas Hold'em games:

Ring games are single tables where anyone can join and leave at will

Sitngo (sit and go) - the designated number of seats from 2 / 6 / 9 / 10 (plus other variations)

Tournament-Again, the designated number of players is usually between 10 and 100,000+.

Bids in this category

At the beginning of each hand, two players always put money in the pot. This is called "blinds". There is a small blind and a big blind or " SB "and " BB". In addition, there is always a dealer. This is called a "Button", and the first two players to the left of the dealer or Button will pay SB and BB. At the beginning of a tournament or sitngo, the blinds are low, usually 15 for SB and 30 for BB. As the game progresses, the blinds increase at certain intervals (the length of the intervals depends on the type of game you are playing, and I will talk about this a little later). After each hand is completed, the next person on the left will become the dealer / Button, and then of course the next two people on the dealer's left will be SB and BB. This continues at the table until the end of the entire game - this is the fairest way to ensure that everyone bets SB and BB.

There is also something called "Ante". Ante is a fixed amount that everyone puts in the bank before the cards are dealt and simultaneously with SB and BB. Ante will only come into play in the late stages of the tournament, and sometimes in the late stages of some sitngo.

OMG how much information was written by 1 person. It's like a whole team was working on it, haha. Thank you so much. This is the most useful and detailed guide I've seen. It is very clear , I say this on behalf of a person who is just beginning to learn the world of poker, haha . I play a little on https://www.ninjacasino.com/ca but I want to spend more time on it, because I really like poker. My friends advised me to learn how to play, and I am absolutely happy that I started learning. But for now, I don't dare play with them for money, otherwise I'll be left without a single cent, hehehe
