MP4 | Video: AVC 1280x720 | Audio: AAC 44KHz 2ch | Duration: 2.5 Hours | 363 MB
Genre: eLearning | Language: English
Introducing MATLAB Functions. This first topic in this MATLAB Series will introduce MATLAB functions and provide many examples. A function is a group of statements that together perform a task. Functions operate on variables within their own workspace, called the local workspace.
Learn that functions can accept more than one input argument and can return more than one output argument. Follow along with Advait and create a number of functions including a function to generate floating point numbers between 1 and 10.
MATLAB Subfunctions. This second topic in this MATLAB Series will introduce MATLAB subfunctions and provide many examples. Follow along with Advait and learn how to create functions within other functions.
MATLAB Global Variables. This third topic in this MATLAB Series will focus on global variables in MATLAB. Learn how global and local variables differ, and follow along with Advait and practice creating global variables in MATLAB.
MATLAB File I/O. This fourth topic in this MATLAB Series will demonstrate file input/output in MATLAB. Follow along with Advait and practice reading data from MATLAB files and writing data to MATLAB files. Learn how to create and initialize an array. You will become proficient with the load command and the fopen, fgets, fscanf, fprintf, and sscanf functions.
Reading Data from an Excel File. This fifth topic in this MATLAB Series explains how to read data from an Excel File and then load that data into MATLAB. Follow along with Advait in this hands-on video and practice reading data from Excel.
MATLAB Loops. This sixth topic in this MATLAB Series will focus on loops in MATLAB. Learn about implicit loops and know the difference between While and For loops. Follow along with Advait and practice writing code that repeats a block of code multiple times. Become proficient with While loops, For loops, Do.while loops, and nested loops.
Coding a Battleships Game in MATLAB. This seventh topic in this MATLAB Series will incorporate all of the techniques from the prior sessions to create a game called Battleships. Follow along with Advait and reinforce your knowledge of loops and other MATLAB constructs in creating this exciting game!
